Eastbourne Model Boat Club in East Sussex.
Founded in 1951, The Eastbourne Model Power Boat Club is one of the oldest clubs in the South of England.
The Club Members meet on a monthly basis in their clubhouse at Princes Park, Eastbourne, where there is a cafe which is open all year.
Sailing is available every day at this venue, although club days are Sunday and Wednesday afternoons.
Regular sailing days are also organised. Included in their annual membership fee of £20 or £24 for family membership, all members benefit from Third Party Insurance
Hailsham Common Pond is another club venue, used on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Club Members construct and use a wide variety of craft, ranging from scale warships through to cabin cruisers and sailing yachts.
Various power sources are utilised, including steam.
