Canterbury and District Model Engineering Society

Kent Model Engineering Club in Canterbury.

The Canterbury and District Model Engineering Society formed in 1972 and currently has around 70 Members.

The Club does have some professional engineers as Members, most are amateurs who work from home.

They produce:

  • Miniature locomotives
  • Traction engines
  • Stationary steam engines

Not all the Club`s models are steam driven.

In the Winter the Society meet on the last Monday of each month in The Barn, Kingston.

During the Summer months, they meet at their permanent miniature railway track.
