Model Club in West London
TDMRC was founded in 1961 – 60 years ago. We have about 60 members. We meet on Friday evenings at Kerswell Hall, Wills Crescent, Hounslow, although meetings are currently suspended because of the pandemic.
Twickenham & District Model Railway Club have several club-owned layouts –
‘O’ Gauge – “Addison Road” (aka ‘Kensington Olympia’, but set in the 1920s era).
‘OO’ Gauge – “Northwick” (BR 1950s, somwhere on the North Somerset coast); “Twickenham Junction” (Southern Region circa 1961), and “Eastgate” (post 2000 modern image set in the north-west of England).
‘N’ Gauge – “Batty Moor” (based on ‘Blea Moor’ on the Settle & Carlisle Line) and “Milton” (a freelance modular layout).
A Multi-Gauge Running Track for test running and “watching the trains go round”!
All of these layouts can be viewed on our club website.
