The Furness Model Railway Club

Model Railway Club in Cumbria.

The Furness Model Railway Club was founded in 1956 and caters for the needs of modellers in the smaller scales of OO, HO and N.

Clubrooms are located in Dundee Street and also in the Public Park, Barrow in Furness.

Layouts are in the smaller scales although the Public Park contains a 3.5 inch and a 5 inch gauge raised track as well as the club`s preserved Furness Railway Gate Box.

A library of books and past publications is also available as well as a bi-monthly newsletter called Turntable.

Meetings for the smaller gauges are held on Monday and Wednesday 7:30pm til 9:30pm at the clubroom.
