Three Counties Model Railway Society
A small, but very friendly Model Railway Club.
The Three Counties Model Railway Society (Formerly the Mentmore Model Railway Group.) which is based near Aston Abbottsm approximately mid way between Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire and Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, was founded in 1997 by two local residents and London commuters who discovered their mutual interest in model railways whilst waiting for their early morning train.
Since then the group has grown very slowly, due to difficulties in locating suitable permanent premises. Fortunately we recently moved into our own 50ft x 25ft. purpose built club room, which is available 24/7 to members, so we now have sufficient room for our currents needs and to allow for future projects.
We currently have a small `tail chaser` 2mm (`N` Gauge) layout, 2 - small 4mm (`00` Gauge) exhibition layouts and a large double track main line, continuous run 7mm (`0` Gauge)layout.
We are now planning new 2mm and 4mm exhibition standard layouts which hopefully will be available in the very near future.
New and prospective members are once again very welcome.
